Written and dedicated to keyboardist Dr. Francis Yun in 2020. Shimmer is a short work built upon the resonance of a few select pitches, and a dead silence between sung notes, altered into flapping wings and rushing wind. Shimmer is part of a set of electro-acoustic works that highlight the imperfections of recorded sound.
