Shimmer is written from the playing and singing of my friend, Francis Yun. The electronics are built upon the resonance of a few select pitches, and a dead silence between sung notes, altered into flapping wings and rushing wind. Shimmer is part of the Lemonade series, a set of electronic works that highlight the imperfections of recorded sound.
